What are Frozen At Sea fillets?

FAS fillets are naturally sourced from North Atlantic cod and haddock, which are caught, processed and frozen at sea within four hours of being caught. This quick-freezing process helps to ‘lock-in’ the fresh quality and nutritional goodness of the fish, which are then distributed to fish and chip shops, restaurants and retailers throughout the UK.
