Julie Waites, Executive Director
Julie has over 25 years of experience in the wider food and commercial seafood sector and joins FASFA within her remit as a Seafood Industry specialist. Julie has organised many events for the seafood industry, notably through organising the World Seafood Congress in 2015, when it was hosted in the UK for the first time. In addition to this, Julie also organised the Humber Seafood Summit for several years, bringing together businesses throughout the supply chain and throwing the spotlight on the key issues.

FASFA Board
There are five non-executive directors who represent the different nationalities, interests and operations within FASFA. FASFA members have access to all UK distribution channels and information on industry news, particularly within the UK’s fish and chip shop sector. As an international body covering all sectors of the industry, FASFA members have a much greater collective influence than they would have individually.
